Infantry Target Training – MOUT

Unlike regular pop up Infantry Target training Mechanisms the brand new MOUT system from Theissen Training Systems simulates six different adversary movements. These include peering over a cover with the “climbing target” mode and stepping sideways out of a cover with the “dodging target” mode. The increased variety of target presentations and the greater training realism enhances training results and creates diversity unknown to conventional training equipment. Designed specifically for modern, multi-functional MOUT and CQB ranges the system takes into consideration the reduced space for target appliances as well as different modes of movements of a potential aggressor in an urban terrain. For convenient operation and flexible training area set up the MOUT Mechanism is battery powered and radio-controlled. For ranges with mains supply hardwired versions are available.
Stationary Armored Target Mechanism

The intermediate target lifter can lift half scale tank flank target silhouettes as well as frontal silhouettes of tanks and armored vehicles. The Stationary Amored Target Mechanism is one of the most powerful medium sized lifters in the live-fire training market and due to its reduced weight it outrivals most competitive products. It is the low weight and compact alternative to the heavy Amour Target Mechanism and perfectly combines very low clearance and good handling with high performance. The standard delivery is a battery powered, radio-controlled portable version. This deployable compact target lifter for full-scale frontal targets is particularly popular in combined arms live fire exercises for APCs, tanks and RPGs. Because of reduced weight and dimensions and a stabile protection frame the deployable version allows flexible tank target scenarios on almost any training range and even on temporary training fields. The medium Stationary Amour Target Mechanism is also available in a landline controlled and mains supplied version.
Moving Infantry Target Training Mechanism

This Moving Infantry Target Mechanism swiftly lifts target silhouettes up to 5 kg and moves with speeds up to 30 km/h. It impresses by virtue of its good acceleration and remotely adjustable speed. The Moving Infantry Target Mechanism offers high performance, multiple functions and low maintenance. Various speeds and movements of the mechanism ensure diversified training scenarios. Standard delivery requires a landline connection to the Range Control Computer and mains supply. The battery powered and radio-controlled deployable version allows installation of a 50 m Track within 30 minutes, assures flexible training and does hardly require any infrastructural preparation.
Heavy Stationary Armored Target

Heavy Stationary Amour Target Mechanisms (Heavy SATs) serve typically on combined arms and multi purpose ranges, and simulate appearing and disappearing full-scale tank targets with dimensions up to 7m x 3m. The powerful hydraulic drive with its low clearance endows the SAT with an enormous lifting capacity of 300kg and a smooth and sturdy lifting process even at large target silhouettes. Available in a deployable version the battery powered and radio controlled lifter can be carried by four field service personnel. Due to its stabile protection frame installation does not require much groundwork. Once brought out in any battlefield scenario or tank or anti amour training range it vigorously presents almost any amour target silhouette. Theissen Training Systems' Heavy SAT can also be delivered in a hard-wired and mains supplied version.
