Macroswiss S.A. is engaged in the design and manufacture of cutting edge solutions for special operations, security and surveillance needs. The company was founded in 1999 and opened its research and development facilities in Balerna, Switzerland in the summer of 2001 with the goal of designing smaller, lighter, and less expensive products than those currently available on the market.

The business concept was conceived by a team of professionals dedicated to creating novel commercial uses for recently developed technologies. The first product designed by the team was a deep-sea underwater robot designed for observation activity in depths up to 2,000 meters. As the founders explored various market opportunities and technologies available to develop new products, they identified several markets where our services could be useful.

Its products are intended for governmental, and military use. As a designer, Macroswiss innovates by creating new applications for existing technologies.

Products:

Our robotic systems products are unique in that some are smaller and thus more easily concealed than competing products while others enable the user to gather visual data in a novel and improved manner. Macroswiss products have been designed as platforms, which can be fully customized to the clients’ specifications.
