Heatgear, a Danish based company, are leading the field of flameless heating technology. Developing and manufacturing two main products: the multipurpose heating system (HEATSTICK) and high density energy storage (FUELSTICK) for use in environments and climates where safety, efficiency and performance are critical for mission success.

HEATSTICK - Flamless Heating Technology

HEATSTICK is a revolutionary new product that enables members of the armed forces to heat frieze-dried food and beverages while out in the field. Unlike other more conventional ration heaters, the HEATSTICK is compact, lightweight, portable and stealthy. Simply hang or place the stick in water and it will rapidly apply heat, providing the makings for hot meals and drinks while on patrol or recognisance missions.

For personnel, this means increased pack space for essential equipment and munitions, improved manoeuvrability and discretion when engaging the enemy in challenging environments. With no open flame, the heat signature of HEATSTICK is completely thermal neutral, so will not show up on enemy night vision or thermal imaging cameras.

Heatgear recognise the hazards of the battlefield and how faulty equipment can put the mission in jeopardy, so HEATSTICK has a raft of safety features and failsafe initiatives built in. The technology's pressure release valve manages the unit's psi, while temperature monitoring shuts HEATSTICK down the moment it becomes too hot. In addition, all heating components of the technology are shielded to avoid damage to other equipment.

FUELSTICK - Propellent Canister

FUELSTICK is a compact and lightweight propellent canister designed for use with HEATGEARs HEATSTICK, suitable for use on the move and offering enhanced usability. One FUELSTICK can heat 6-9 liters of water. Water temperature, Climate, altitude etc. will influence on gas consumption and heating time.

FUELSTICK has been carefully developed to work in a range of extreme environments, including desert and arctic conditions. Heatgear have also developed FUELSTICK PERFORMANCE for environments where conditions are unpredictable and can quickly move from hot to cold, damp to dry. Where coventional canisters may loose pressure and usability, FUELSTICK endures, acting as an extremely reliable high-density fuel source.
