Delayed Barriers

Safeguards Technology’s delayed barriers include: Welded Razor Mesh Security Fencing, Welded Mesh Security Fencing, Palisades High Security Fencing, HD-300 Rapid Deployment Mobile Barrier System, Chain Link Fencing, and Bollards. These fences and barriers are designed to be long-life, low maintenance physical barriers.

The Razor Mesh and Welded Mesh are constructed of high security fence material. Palisades fencing combines beauty, functionality, and a high security design into an attractive and functional security fence. The HD-300 Mobile Barrier can serve as a rapid deployment barrier for use in crowd control as well as protection of camp perimeters or temporary prisoner processing sites. Bollards are offered in both standard and decorative configurations and can be custom designed as needed.

Our retractable bollard systems have been certified K-12/Pass (15,000 lb vehicle/ 50mph /1 meter penetration) by the U.S. Department of State.

Perimeter Detection

Safeguards Technology offers a variety of intrusion security systems designed to meet specific facility requirements, site considerations, and budgets. These systems provide detection and notification of intrusion as well as a physical, visual, and mental barrier against intrusion.

Safeguard Technology’s Intrusion Detection Systems include: Taut Wire Intrusion Detection System, STI-390B Fence Vibration System, Fiber Optic Detection System, Photon Advanced Infrared Intrusion Detection System, Absolute Dual Technology System, Seismic Buried Geophone Intrusion Detection System, Laser Guard Sensor and DualSense Intrusion Detection System.

Under Vehicle Inspection

Safeguard Technology’s Under Vehicle Inspection System (UVIS), The TI-S Series, is designed to provide a security solution for inspecting the most vulnerable part of a vehicle - the chassis. Objects may vary from explosives, drugs, merchandise, and the smuggling of human beings across borders or out of prison compounds. The versatile view angle allows the user to verify, from multiple angles, the suspicious threat before actually having to physically reach the subject.

In the case of bomb squad technicians, being able to examine the object from a distance before having to physically deal with it could make the difference between life and death, as well as spare the inconvenience of false alarms. All data from the system can be recorded to the local DVR system for training and investigative uses.
