MILEX – Protection At All Times In Any Environment

Undesirable influences from various sources which occur during transport, storage or use can have a damaging effect on sensitive electronic components and therefore present considerable risks. These risks are eliminated by using MILEX cases.

Complete Temperature Controlled Transit Cases - KOOLEX

For high demand thermal management, choose from EDAK’s line of active vapour cycle air conditioning with a range of capacities, physical sizes and electrical requirements. At the entry-level there is the rugged COTS (commercial off the shelf) 100 BTU/hr solution that fits in a 6” deep 7U (or larger) cover and runs at 110/220 VAC. At the high-level of performance with MIL-STD capabilities, there is the 8500 BTU/hr system that fits in an 8” deep 9U (or larger) covers and runs on 28 VDC. A new product that connects to US military vehicles supports many different applications and platforms both stationary and mobile. Thermal electric cooling technology is also available.

Transit Case Compressor Server - KOOLEX TC Server

The KOOLEX TC server is a high-powered portable unit for both heating and cooling of electronics during transport, operation or storage. The distinctive feature of the TC server is its ability to maintain individual preset temperatures in up to four cases simultaneously. It has the capability to heat, and satisfies even the most severe cooling requirements. The design is based on a compressor and condenser mounted in an 8U MILEX transit case. When connected to heat exchangers mounted in MILEX case covers (TC Cover) they provide sealed thermal control for the payload. Fans in the TC Cover circulate the cool (or warm) air throughout the case.

Aluminium Light Metal Cases For Outdoor Material Handling - STANEX

The degree of protection built into STANEX light metal cases is extremely high. They are exceptionally resistant against drop shock, mechanical shock and vibrations. When closed they provide excellent protection against intrusion of sand and dust, snow and ice. They are suitable for the tropics and are termite proof. They protect against damaging intrusion of dust and water per EN 60529.

The high strength, corrosion resistant alloy ensures the long life of EDAK cases. Cleaning is fast and easy. For just the look you want, a finish with standard or special paint is available by order.
