DREHTAINER focuses its protective design work on side blast-resistance, and resistance against AT mines and ballistic protection.

Military Vehicle Protection

Our tactical military vehicle protection is a process where Drehtainer upgrade existing armoured vehicles and truck cabins with our 'zero shock system' to guarantee less injuries (approximately 0% during a shock wave) and to minimise physical traumas. A test programme for Boxer and Yak is under contract.

Military Mobile Containers

The DREHTAINER protective military mobile containers are designed for use on trucks or trailers or discharged on the ground for the following purposes (along with a multi-role platform):

Personnel transport containers (for 16 to 20 persons)
Ambulances for two to six stretchers
Mobile rescue containers
Protected communication shelters
Independent surveillance post

Tactical Operations Centers (TOC)

The Tactical Operations Center (TOC) is a modular building, built up of several special 20ft containers. Side and front wall elements can be removed to combine numerous containers. They are coupled, weatherproof and supplied with over-pressure ventilation.

The TOC can be used as a:

Mission control centre
Medical centre
Operation centre
Armoured accommodation centre
Communication centre
Surveillance centre

We have customers in Germany, the Netherlands and Australia for these products.

Protective Container Systems And Special Containers

We design and manufacture protective container systems and special containers for military and civil purposes. All container systems like the tactical operation centre, the watch tower, the check point container, the mobile shelter and the protected accommodation container, as well as ballistic protectors for camps and the medical rescue container, have been tested and are already in service.

All DREHTAINER protective container solutions have been tested by several authorities; texts which were passed successfully. Our impulse-free floor system guarantees a total shock decoupling in case of mine detonations and side blasts. DREHTAINER's main features in the field of defence are below.

Watch Tower Buildings: Surveillance and Protection

The DREHTAINER watch tower buildings are used for surveillance and protection purposes, and favoured for camps and military installations with limited access. They can be used in combination with ballistic protectors.

The watch tower in 20ft configuration is erected on one frontal wall-element to raise height. The turret is protected and outfitted with embrasures. The 10ft watch tower can be mounted on top of another container. Two 10ft watch towers can be coupled to reach the 20ft ISO dimensions for transport.

Protective Container (Three-In-One)

DREHTAINER has developed a new three-in-one protective container designed for military and civil purposes. The system is extremely easy to handle and absolutely reliable. It can be used as an emergency room or for other medical installations, as a training facility, a kitchen container, or a mission control centre. It can be protected according to STANAG level three.
