ECA designs and manufactures autonomous & remotely controlled Unmanned Ground, Surface & Underwater Vehicles ( Robotic Systems) for IEDD, EOD, surveillance, detection, mapping, neutralization, CRBN, hazmat, inspection & reconnaissance, at land, surface and underwater.

ECA life saving technology is used by Defence, Security, Nuclear and Chemical Industries. Over 500 of our combat proven systems are deployed worldwide. Surface and subsea surveillance, mine hunting and mine disposal, nuclear detection, harbour protection, homeland security and neutralization of suspect devices for just naming a few of their missions. Our robots are used by navies, police forces, fire armies etc.

Remote Control Mobile Surveillance Robot

INBOT, a Remote Control Mobile Surveillance Robot of 2,1 kg is equipped with three cameras for fast deployment in harsh and dangerous environments. Applications: audio & video inspection and survey missions in the context of Urban Warfare, Security and anti-terrorist attacks.

Unmanned Underwater Vehicle for Naval Intelligence and Inspection

AUV ALISTER REA (Unmanned Underwater Vehicle) with: high navigation performance and stability, increased sensor performance, hovering capacity for inspection. Flexible sensor package to suit different missions: Autonomous seabed search and survey from coastal station or ship platform,  MCM search and survey,  close support to task force (organic mine warfare), Rapid Environment Assessment (R.E.A.), Naval Intelligence gathering - covert reconnaissance (RECCE).

Modular IEDD / EOD Robot: Surveillance, Detection, Mapping, Neutralizing and CRBN

CAMELEON modular IEDD / EOD robot which is remote controlled and light weight robot. It is the only robot capable of receiving different existing and customized payloads for missions such as: surveillance, detection, localization & mapping, CBRN and auto protection.

The "plug & play" modular concept developed by ECA for this robot allows easy reconfiguration of mission modules. It can be deployed in many locations (flats, urban areas, military base, airports, on airplanes, subways etc.).

Experiments conducted in conjunction with the French Fire Department have enabled ECA to finalize a radiological and chemical detection mission module incorporating off-the-shelf sensors.

The urban combat robots, jointly developed by us and the DGA (French MoD), were awarded the title of "Best 2007 Product" at the Unmanned Vehicles (UV) Shephard review in Paris as a reward for the development efforts made since 2004 concerning multi-mission robots capable of performing a vast variety missions: EOD, IEDD & CRBN…

Remote-controlled Mobile Vehicle for Inspection and Neutralization

COBRA is a remote-controlled mobile vehicle for inspection and neutralization in hardly accessible environment. It carries accessories such as small disruptors, lasers and sensors. High shock resistance and reversibility allow launching through a window and therefore safe inspection before any human intervention.

Ground Robot for Remote Manipulation and Neutralization of Dangerous Objects

The EOD/IEDD mobile robot TSR 202 is used wherever human intervention is risky:

  • Remote manipulation in difficult or dangerous environment
  • Neutralisation of dangerous objects (explosive systems, booby traps) by specialised security services.

With its specific new options (portable control panel, extended 500m range transmission, automatic umbilical stowing system, PROPARM and RICHEMOND cannon fitting) the TSR202 can address all the kind of EOD/IEDD missions.

Homeland Protection: Unmanned Surface Vehicles for Surveillance

USV INSPECTOR, very flexible remote controlled surface platform is capable of carrying a large range of different sensors for interventions in the context of: Coastal and Port Security, underwater search missions,  Mine Warfare,  Naval Combat applications, Shallow water survey, Surveillance & reconnaissance missions.

Mine Killing

Expendable Mine Disposal System K-ster is a low cost and easy to launch system for clearing minefields. Designed to operate from any non dedicated platform, at short or long range, in shallow or deep water it is automatically guided towards the target ; allows identification prior to accurate and powerful fire.
