Panavision has over 52 years of experience in designing, manufacturing, testing, and servicing high precision, excellent performing, very reliable spherical and anamorphic optics, film and digital cameras.
Since 1954 Panavision has designed and manufactured over 5000 projection, printer, camera and viewfinder lens systems for commercial and Government applications which include making motion pictures, documentaries, specialized videos for training, surveillance, broadcasting, imagery analysis, advertising, and special effects.
Our core competency is in designing and manufacturing high performance optical and camera systems of which many of these systems we built are specialized and very complex. Panavision has over 1100 employees at Panavision with service and support offices in 20 different countries.
Panavision Federal Systems is an extension of Panavision's commercial lens and camera operations focused on the Government market. Over the last 3 years, Panavision has developed a 300x compound lens capability that can provide high-resolution images at great distances.
As the government and military applications for this technology became obvious, the Federal Systems group was formed in late 2004. Panavision Federal Systems LLC, provides complete camera imaging systems to its Government customers.
