Micro Nav produces the BEST range of Air Traffic Control simulators. BEST (Beginning to End for Simulation and Training) is the new generation of ATC simulators that covers all levels and all types of training.

BEST is in use by many leading authorities in courses approved to both ICAO and national standards. The products are continuously improved through the Micro Nav quality practices that are approved to ISO 9001:2000 and TickIt standards by LRQA.

BEST applications include tower, radar and procedural control with classroom, part task and full scope simulators. Military variants with special facilities such as precision approach radar are available. Its power and realism enable BEST to be used for design and evaluation tasks as well as training. Stimulation of real systems is increasingly being used to deliver high fidelity, fully controllable simulations thanks to the BEST interfaces that match international standards for radar, flight and other data.

The range of solutions is completed by integrated audio communications and voice recognition with synthesis. BEST runs on commercial PCs with Windows operating systems and networking for economy of maintenance and technology insertion. Fighter controller training simulators are also available.
