MEGADOOR is a subsidiary of Crawford Group, one of the world's largest door manufacturers. MEGADOOR specializes in hangar doors and doors for aerospace, shipbuilding, industrial buildings, automotive manufacturers etc. The doors produced by MEGADOOR AB in Sweden are sold through the international Crawford Door network to all markets except to North America. Doors for the American market are supplied by the sister company MEGADOOR Inc., in Atlanta, USA.

Application Requirements

The MEGADOOR is designed to withstand severe conditions in the toughest environments including very high/low temperatures, extreme wind and corrosion. Each MEGADOOR is custom designed and engineered to exact specification. There are virtually no limitations in height and width. Size restrictions are limited only to what is practical. MEGADOOR can be delivered in multiple door systems and for innovative hangar designs, where the area around the aircraft can be minimized.

Basic Construction

The MEGADOOR is an electrically operated vertical folding door consisting of double vinyl-coated polyester sheets with extruded aluminium beams between. The door is constructed with solid, heavy duty and corrosion resistant components, and the reliable electric system includes sealed motors to prevent dirt and dust infiltration.
