Diversified Technology, Inc. (DTI) designs and manufactures embedded platforms, communication servers, and subsystems for the mission critical and non-critical demands of the government computing market. These solutions delivered on a variety of form factors including AdvancedTCA, CompactPCI, ETX and PCI offer long life support for multiple government agencies involved with protecting global and domestic interests. DTI has a 30-year history of providing embedded computing designs, along with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) product lines, that power today's ground, sea and air deployments. Embedded computing in the battlefield will continue to drive DTI to new COTS and proprietary solutions to support the government's defense initiatives.
Over the years, DTI has had several company dealings in the government computing market. One such program is providing customized rackmount platforms to Ultra Electronics, a leader in development of tactical network management systems used within the military. The ruggedized PCI systems provide net-centric services through a transformational management system to enable Internet protocol-based networks of the future to operate efficiently with current C2 Tactical networks. Each transportable system is packaged with three individual DTI slot card CPUs that provide maximum performance in a ruggedized rackmount chassis.
Diversified Technology, Inc. is also providing CompactPCI based CPU blades to Rockwell Collins, a leading provider of actuation systems, aircraft control mechanisms, missile components and specialized products. The end-solution platform is a core network cabinet used on new versions of the 787 Boeing aircraft.
A deal to furnish PCI-based hardware utilized in a new tactical datalink network management system used by the U.S. Air Force Electronic Systems Center is also currently underway at DTI. The rackmount system is a custom design for Northrop Grumman and features three high-performance, PCI Single Board Computers. By offering new capabilities, the platform will be able to ensure real-time sharing of threat, target, and command & control information.
