DSEi is organised by Spearhead Exhibitions Ltd, who have recently been acquired by Reed Exhibitions. The addition of DSEi to Reed’s already impressive defence and aerospace portfolio will be of great benefit in terms of international exposure both commercially and in terms of attracting international visitors. DSEi is also the only exhibition organised in association with the UK MOD, specifically the Defence Export Services Organisation (DESO) who invite delegations to attend and then host them.

Whilst the show in 2007 is already an important event on the international defence calendar, the aim is to make DSEi the world’s pre-eminent tri-service event. Thanks both to excellent feedback from previous exhibitors and from visitors having a look at the event with a view to exhibiting next time, this goal is now achievable. Exciting new feature areas and static displays are planned along with the addition of new national pavilions and group stands for UK and international associations.

The growth of aerospace will continue so that DSEi becomes a fully integrated event. Engineering and Information Technology will also be growth areas, and the latest MOD programmes will be given special attention so that the key decision makers can view the latest and future technology, which can potentially be put to use by the armed forces in years to come.
