Danish Aerotech is a privately owned company, founded in 1992 and located in the former Royal Danish Air Force main facilities for aircraft maintenance. Since its foundation, the business areas of Danish Aerotech have expanded gradually, and today they cover not only Aerospace Services (including Missile Services), but also Aerospace Structures & Parts, and Aerospace Electronics. In short, Danish Aerotech is a civil Defence and Aerospace company.
Danish Aerotech focuses on the development, production, installation and support of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components for aircraft, helicopters, missiles and targeting systems. We have a leading position in the field of aircraft and helicopter services, customization, and modification, developing further our Quick-Change and Modular solutions.
Facilities
Our headquarters are located at Karup Air Base, where we have 15,000 m2 of aircraft hangars, stores, and highly specialised workshops for total on-site support at our disposal. The location at the Air Base offers maximum security, and it gives our military customers the possibility of flying directly into the Air Base, where sensitive equipment can be offloaded and handled without ever leaving military premises.
At our facilities in Ballerup near Copenhagen, 4,000 m2 are dedicated to the production of electronic components.
