Broady Flow Control is an independent Valve Manufacturer, specialising in innovative and effective solutions to satisfy its increasing customer demands, challenges and problems in Flow Control for Naval and Commercial applications.

A global supplier of specialist valves with customers in over 46 countries, Broady manufacture Relief, Safety Relief, Reducing, Sustaining, Globe, ASBRO, VG-Norm and specialised ‘build to print’ submarine valves including Navy Q1 specification. In addition to supplying submarine 1st level valves Broady also supply cast, forged and machined components to the naval shipbuilding industry. For example submarine 1st level NAB Class I, II & III castings to Def-Stan 02-747.

Broady’s Naval repair department refurbish and overhaul its own and other selected manufactures products in addition the design and development department has undertaken the re-design of customers legacy products whilst successfully designing & introducing new products to drive down customer costs with added benefits of reducing system noise, maintenance, logistic support requirements but with enhanced safety & reliability. This expertise is further supported by our on site non-ferrous foundry specialising in standard and exotic materials to current Defence & ISO/British Standards.

Broady supplies valves, castings, forgings and machined components to all major warship/submarine building projects both in the UK & globally. As such Broady is currently negotiating vendor management of a range of inventory for UK MoD and can provide similar services to other naval customers.

Launch of the "Astute Class" Submarine

Broady Naval were invited to the launch of the first of the new "Astute Class" nuclear attack submarines. "a cornerstone of the UK defence capability for the Royal Navy for some years to come" at Barrow on the 8th June, as a significant key valve and key component supplier!
