The British Glove Association has brought together the previous two trade associations. The Glove Guild and the National Association of Glove Manufacturers have now combined to form one strong representative body able to speak as the single voice on behalf of the entire glove industry.

The BGA has members from both the Industrial and Dress Glove sections of the Industry, and includes manufacturers, importers and others concerned with gloving. The BGA works closely with members, Government bodies, BSI, etc in order to protect and further the interests of the industry.

The BGA has an Industrial Glove Committee which, when required, discusses matters of technical importance and issues affecting the protective glove section. We have an active Press & PR section, which covers all matters pertaining to the promotion of gloves. The Executive seeks to look after the interests of the industry as a whole, and has firm links with the Worshipful Company of Glovers of London.

Meetings held for members include such sections as Wages, Manufacturers/Industrial and Press & PR. Subscriptions are very reasonable at 42.40 for individual and 210.00 for corporate members (plus VAT). In addition, extra technical services can be provided at a cost.
