Britannia Defence Systems Ltd is the export sales arm of Britannia 2000. The Company designs, manufactures and integrates specialist surveillance equipment for Military and Government use.
Products include day/night cameras, thermal imagers, digital microwave links, hand held modular night vision, rugged video recorders, digital mapping with camera control and position overlay, wireless controlled camera systems, weapon systems cameras, rugged LCD displays, high precision fast pan/tilt units and control systems for electro-optical sensors.
Uniquely, for an electronics company, we also design and build specialist vehicles, armoured or soft skinned, for a wide range of applications including Command & Control, Border Surveillance and Fast Attack.
Our electronics expertise coupled with our ability to provide specialist vehicles enables us to act as systems integrators for complex systems, giving clients a 'one stop shop' for complete systems, which include other manufacturers equipment. Typically these would include laser rangefinders, Satellite communications and general communications equipment.
