BAE Systems C-ITS delivers one of the worlds most competitive and cost effective solutions for powerful simulator training entirely based on COTS hardware. The simulation engine is a common software platform, which is modular, scaleable and flexible.
The range of training solutions for the aviation sector is named DATS - Durable Aviation Trainer Solutions. DATS ATC Training Simulator has been developed to train area approach, local and ground controllers, in TWR, IFR, VFR and local airport procedures for both military and civil usage.
BAE Systems C-ITS has developed simulators since 1978 and delivered the first air traffic control simulator in the early 1990's. The company has an excellent record of simulator installations all over the world but worth mentioning is the LAKS multi-disciplinary ATC simulator at the Swedish Armed Forces ATC Training Academy, entirely built up with 118 standard PCs.
BAE Systems C-ITS is a Swedish company part of BAE Systems Land & Armaments since June 2005.
