The Aire Group’s equipment has proved itself when it counts … in action with the armed forces worldwide.

Our pioneering inflatable buildings have been used by the British army in a vast range of roles. Both the Royal Electrical And Mechanical Engineers and the Army Air Corps have used them as giant mobile workshops in places as diverse as Norway, Bosnia and Kenya.

Aireshower Mobile Decontamination System

The Aire Group has earned a worldwide reputation for its innovative Aireshower mobile decontamination system which was used at Ground Zero in the aftermath of the World Trade Centre terrorist atrocities on September 11, 2001. The inflatable Aireshower won the Queen’s Award For Enterprise for its amazing technology.

The Royal Navy crash investigation and salvage teams use them at often isolated crash sites and they are deployed as simulated firing ranges on army recruitment roadshows.

The Aireshower casualty decontamination and wound irrigation system has also been granted the European Standard by the Medical Devices Agency.

We supply chemical and biological personal protection equipment and our Tyvek F suit and powered respiratory system is lightweight, quick and easy to use and has passed tough tests against sulphur mustard vapour at the Porton Down British Defence Research Establishment to prove it meets current military standards.

Our inflatable Collective Protection Unit has an ingenious airlock system to protect people inside from the effects of a chemical or biological attack outside and is used by the British Transport Police for CS gas training.

Our latest product is a system which thoroughly cleanses equipment and vehicles which have been contaminated by a vast range of potentially killer bugs including anthrax, smallpox and MRSA. This could save millions of pounds cleaning equipment which would otherwise have to be destroyed.

Other products include outdoor water heaters, soft ground tiles that can withstand weights up to 40 tons, Paratech method of entry and rescue tools including struts, stretchers which fold into backpacks, cooling vests, contagious disease body bags, pack-up toilets, airbags to lift vehicles, inflatable paths for water rescues, a portable Firexpress firefighting system, an ultra-safe petrogen cutter which slices through steel up to 14 inches thick, inflatable outdoor lights, foldaway ladders, generators and trailers.
