3S is a fully owned subsidiary of Ellcaro AS, Norway. Ellcaro AS is also the owner of Scandinavian Shelters Systems Grimstad AS, Norway. Which was (previously Finsam Container Systems AS) and has been a leading manufacturer of special ISO containers and special aluminium sandwich shelters for more than 30 years.
The 3S ranges of expanding shelters comprise of 2in1 and 3in1 shelters. Two concepts are available, both based upon a standard 20 ISO container with CSC Approval by Lloyds.
Offered in both 2in1 and 3in1 versions. The expanding sections of this shelter are designed as integral parts of the 20' ISO container and are folded out by means of a manually or electrically operated winch.
Set up time for the unit is proven to take less than 20 minutes, including unloading and levelling and
the expanding sections are self-supporting and allow expansion and use whilst on a truck or trailer.
The Interior usable floor space is 36m2. Net weight 3200kg - Gross weight 8000kg and is suitable for use as a Surgical Operating Theatre, Office, Communications, Accommodations, Workshop, Laundry, Sanitary (5 showers/5WC).
The other 3S lightweight expandable shelter is manufactured from a lightweight aluminium/sandwich construction, but it expands from the centre ISO box by pulling out another box. This design will allow permanent installation of C³system components, heavy tools, medical apparatus etc, and will thus enhance “plug & play” capabilities.
As with our 3in1 Folding Expander this concept is also CSC Certified by Lloyds.
Both designs offer exceptional space for their users, unique LCC characteristics, easy operation and maintenance at reasonable costs

The AluSafe panels are perfect for easy and affordable protection of ISO containers, facilities and even for use as perimeter protection (fence).
Panels are lightweight, easy to join and are reusable multiple times. Protection is achieved by a combination of the special design of the aluminium profiles and gravel or sand that is poured into the panel inside. Gravel or sand is drained at the bottom of the panel before transport to avoid excess weight.
