3D Perception supplies both the simulation and entertainment industries world-wide with projection, and projection related equipment. The main products include a unique digital technology for geometrical correction of images when projected on to curved screens.
The technology also makes it possible to seamlessly combine images with our soft-edge blending technology from multiple projectors, and to adjust both colour and gamma in order to obtain smooth and realistic images in complicated projection theatres. Typical examples of these theatres include domes and full 360º wrap-around screens.
The unique technology is available in our own CompactView Clan single chip DLP projectors, our own CompactU™ stand-alone units and in image generators. CompactView Clan projectors are available in XGA and SXGA, both with the option of 1500 and 3000 ANSI lumens.
The CompactU™ units make it easy to obtain a seamless and geometry corrected projection theatre using rudimentary or high-end projectors. The unit is self-supported and easily installed between the Image Generators and the Projectors.
Other projection related equipment includes a hand-held CompactPocket for the remote control of CompactControl software and the Compact ColourMatcher for achieving optimal colour balance across all projectors in a theatre, regardless of their number.
Through our VAR's 3D Perception also offers a number of services associated with the products, such as the design, construction, installation and setting-to-work of a professional visual system requiring a wide spectrum of specialised skills and qualifications.
