The MII FlashCam provides the very latest technology to combine the functionality of a whitelight torch, a covert IR illuminator, a day/night camera, viewing screen and solid state audio video
recorder in to a single, simple to use torch! It even has a built in laser pointer for keeping subjects centre frame during covert recording.
During the day time the FlashCam operates as a surveillance TV camera recording video and audio using its built in camera and microphone. At night, the user can select white light for normal patrol duties or covert IR for stealth monitoring, all the time with the ability to recod what is being seen!
At the end of a shift or on return to his vehicle, the user can download in to a lap top, PC, in-car computer, DVR or VCR using the docking station/charger. All the software required is supplied. The FlashCam will operate for 1.5 hours on a single charge or for 3.5 hours when only the flashlight is used. The batteries are high density, high capacity ‘C-Cell’ Lithium Ion which will take more than 1000 charges and have no ‘memory’ effect.
