The SIM 7Q is optimized to provide exceptional contrast, unmatched dynamic range, seamless image blending and outstanding performance. Barco representatives demonstrate the system's capabilities by comparing the SIM 7Q and a commercial off-the-shelf projector.
At the forefront of innovations in the field of simulation, Barco shows the stimulated night vision capabilities of its SIM 5R projector. This enables users wearing night vision goggles (NVG) to see bright, properly defined targets during simulated night mission rehearsals.
Until now, implementing NVG technology in simulation has been difficult because of its demanding black levels and ultra-high contrast requirements, but Barco's next-generation simulation systems have effortlessly conquered this hurdle.
Barco representatives are also keen to discuss the company's new Mylar-based Cross-Collimated Cockpit Display (CCCD) and warp integration capabilities. In today's professional flight training market there is a growing need for complete simulation systems.
