ND SatCom, an SES ASTRA company, announced that its US affiliate ND SatCom Inc. has recently been awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, performance-based contract from the US Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center in Charleston, S.C.
The contract, awarded to ND SatCom Inc. and six other companies, establishes a framework for ND SatCom to deliver multiple portable Satellite Communication (Satcom) Terminals to the U.S. Navy. The company's potential share of the contract award could reach up to approximately USD 51 million in the first year, with the opportunity to secure orders totaling USD 289 million over five years, if all options are exercised.
