Ultra Electronics Tactical Communication Systems Division (TCS) has been awarded a FMS contract valued at more than US $4 million to replace the communications equipment for a major Middle Eastern customer. This upgrade is the first phase of a multi-phased program that uses the field proven AN/GRC-245 multi-band radio, the MTD-2016 switch multiplexer and the SUPERHIGHWAY LAN Combiner to provide improved reliability and additional data capacity for the military users. The systems IP LAN capability will support IP based command and control applications. This shows Ultra Electronics TCS determination to delight our customers with innovative, reliable, and cost-effective products coupled with an excellent lifecycle support.
