"We have for a long time focused on quality, which we believe is an essential element in being able to deliver world-class systems for Simulation and Training, therefore we are proud that our Quality Management System now also is certified according to the standards" says Claes Erik Frölund, President.
During 2005, BAE Systems C-ITS started the work to certify the present quality management system, QITS according to the ISO 9001:2000 and TickIT standards. The work has been carried out smoothly and the final assessment was made in mid-December 2005. After minor adjustments in January the final certification was made in February and the actual certificate was received today.
"Through-out the process in preparing for the actual certification, all employees has been fully involved and we know that all parts of the QITS Quality Management System are thoroughly well known and fully used by our employees. This is of course essential in our efforts to continuously improve quality and develop our business", says Anders Gottnersson, Executive Vice President and responsible for Quality Management.
