More than 1,000 ATK AAR-47 missile warning systems fly on-board US and our allies military's fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters operating in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere. They've been tested time and time again. Pilots rely on this system to identify the threat and automatically dispense decoys that deflect the missile out of harm's way.

The AAR47 system provides protection for helicopters and transport aircraft.
“ATK missile warning systems combine highly reliable threat assessment with some of the most sophisticated countermeasures in the industry,” said Tom Wilson, Group Vice President, ATK Precision Systems. “They operate autonomously so pilots can focus on flying the aircraft.”
