The VT Miltope TSC-750M Computer, featuring Intel(r) Centrino(tm) Mobile Technology and the fastest-yet 3D ATI video, is the most versatile and compact ruggedized laptop computer available today.
The TSC-750M has been successfully qualified to MIL-STD-810/461/464. The TSC-750M is powered by the Intel(r) Pentium(r) M Processor using the Intel(r) 855PM chipset. It is also designed to accommodate the Intel(r) Pro Wireless 2100 for wireless computing. The TSC-750M is available in 1.3 to 1.6 GHz processor configurations. Its Intel(r) Pentium(r) M Processor incorporates 1 MB of cache and provides performance similar to a 2.0 to 2.5 GHz CPU, without the high power consumption.
The TSC-750M also delivers the fastest-yet 3D video thanks to its ATI MOBILITY(tm) RADEON(tm) 9000 graphics accelerator - dramatically enhancing all aspects of the visual experience in every application. The system can operate for eight hours on a single battery charge and two internal hot swappable DR-36 batteries provide virtually unlimited autonomous operation.
The TSC-750M can also connect directly to military vehicle power at 18-32 VDC, or be operated from 115/230 VAC or 47-440 Hz through its MIL-STD-810/461/464-qualified external rugged power adapter/battery charger. The TSC-750M allows simultaneous use of an internally configured 40 GB removable shock-isolated hard drive, DVD/CD ROM read/write drive, 1.44MB floppy drive and two installed batteries. The MILBRITE ELG low-power 13.3" direct-sunlight-readable display is readable in low or very bright light.
The TSC-750M is configured with interfaces for all tactical applications: RS-232/485 (2), USB (2), Parallel, 10/100 Base T Ethernet, 56.6K Modem, External Video, audio in-out, headphone, and microphone; also available with an optional wireless interface. System expansion is available through two standard Type II PCMCIA slots. PC cards are held in place by VT Miltope's Clamp-Tite strain relief system. The TSC-750M is also the core of VT Miltope's Maintenance Service Device (MSD) System. The MSD program is one of the key digitization components of the US Army tactical infrastructure. The MSD not only provides a direct digital link to MIL-STD-1553, J1708, and J1939 data buses, but also is the system that allows maintenance and operations manuals to be transported and utilized electronically versus the need to maintain reams of paper and volumes of manuals at the forward site. This is accomplished through the use and storage of Electronic Tech Manuals ("ETM") and Interactive Electronic Tech Manuals ("IETM") directly on the MSD tactical maintenance and diagnostic system. The MSD-FR (Field Ready) provides a comprehensive maintenance and diagnostic system. The MSD-FR includes an MSD computer, external combination power adapter/charger, NATO power cable and other accessories packaged in a transit case. It enables comprehensive maintenance and diagnostic capabilities. This configuration is utilized as an on-system test system in support of all United States Army weapon platforms.

The MSD-ICE consists of the MSD-FR and the ICE Kit. The ICE Kit includes an ICE box, data bus kit, multi-function PCMCIA test card, cables (MSD, DCA and accessories), probes and transducer kit packaged in a transit case.
