Ultra Electronics To Supply Radio Assemblage Modification Kits to US Army
Ultra Electronics ‐ Tactical Communication Systems is awarded a contract amendment valued at US$ 18,100,000 for the supply of AN/TRC‐190(V)3 radio Assemblage Modification Kits and associated equipment for the U.S. Army's WIN‐T Program.
Ultra Electronics Tactical Communication Systems (Ultra TCS) has achieved a major milestone having been awarded US$ 100,000,000 since January 2008, under contact no. DAAB07‐98‐C‐F505.
Military Software Defined Radios

The AN/GRC‐245A HCLOS™ radio is a state‐of‐the‐art Software Defined Radio (SDR) using the Software Communications Architecture (SCA) open framework. The HCLOS™ radio is currently shipping with a 16Mb/s capacity, but is software‐upgradeable to 34Mb/s full‐duplex capacity. Ultra‐TCS has already delivered thousands of HCLOS™ radios to North American and International customers, many of which are operating in the most demanding battlefield conditions. Many thousands more HCLOS™ radios are on order.
