Are you independent? Or are you tied to a printing company?
We are a privately funded company, and entirely independent. Unlike many of our competitors who are owned by printers, our only allegiance is to our customers, and for us every contract we fulfil is as important as our very first. Neither are we tied to suppliers- we have a selection of specialists on tap for any one job.
How do you vet suppliers? How do we know they'll do the job properly?
Cyan Group has a supplier selection scheme, which ensures quality, cost and project effectiveness. Our team of print buyers constantly monitor the print industry to ensure that new players or advances in technology are evaluated and any benefits passed onto our clients.
I do all my printing through my creative agency. Can you still help?
Of course. We don't want you to ditch your design agency- indeed we'll happily work with them. Some of our biggest clients are design agencies, and like our other customers they appreciate that our service allows them to concentrate on their creative talents. Your agency is unlikely to have the expertise to optimise and consolidate the cost of your print as we can; just as we aren't design gurus! Both partners working together is usually the ideal solution.
Do you only do printing?
Pretty much. We only want to do what we're good at- and we're good at Print Management. But that does include everything from design, branding and artwork sourcing through to finished product and distribution.
How do we know what you're doing?
You're in charge of everything. We have our bespoke management software which will allow you to monitor to the penny what your expenditure is (and by whom, in as many departments or sub-accounts as you want) at any time. It also offers a complete secure on-line ordering system. You can also micro-manage stock control; so you need never run out of business cards or letterhead again. Control is still right at your fingertips.
