The MSK4225 H-Bridge PWM Military Motor Driver is rated at 75 volts maximum and up to 20 amps of continuous output current (40 amps peak).
Housed in a low cost, plastic package measuring just 2.6 x 1.5 x 0.46 inches, this module is ideal for driving brushed motors or for use in Class D switchmode amplification applications.
The MSK4225 has internal lowside/highside drive circuitry with shoot through protection, as well as an internal PWM generator set at 45 KHz. The user needs only to provide an analog signal for motor speed/direction, or audio signal for switchmode audio amplification.
A logic level high side enable is provided for special modulation functions, along with a logic level disable. The switches used in the output bridge are ultra low on resistance 13 milliohm MOSFET’s so internal power dissipation is extremely low for a device rated at this power level.
The operating temperature range is –40 to + 85 degrees C and the module can be provided with the leads formed up or down for versatility in heat sinking and board mounting.
