Elide Hodgson began her working life in Italy working for Klopman International, an American textile group. She moved to the UK working to set up the London office of the food division of Italimprese, a large Italian group. The group was a producer freeze-dried ingredients and products, and Mrs Hodgson developed a large number of commercial and industrial customers. From there Mrs Hodgson went on to open up her own company Fra Angelico Limited in 1997.
