Wire Harnesses for Land, Sea and Air
Danish Aerotech has long experience in preparation of looms and wire harnesses, including assembly of a number of connectors, both crimp and solder types, fitted with protection boots and sleevings, to waterproof the cables for use in humid and chemically aggressive areas.
Our assembly area is equipped with various tools for stripping of wires, soldering and crimping of pins and terminal lugs for most types of connectors and terminal boards. The wires are marked either by laser, hot stamping or sleeve imprinting.
Danish Aerotech also holds tools and calibrators for stripping tools, crimping tools and test equipment. Calibrations are performed frequently.
For cable looms without sleeving, bindings are used to keep the wires together and formed to meet structural requirements.
Inspection is performed at all levels with the necessary tools. We perform continuity and insulation checks for up to 1,500 nodes at the time at max. 1000 VDC and 100 MOhm.
Danish Aerotech's personnel receives the necessary training and certifications to fulfill the specific requirements of each program. Full traceability is provided through unit processing documentation.
