Transforming HR services

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) recognises that to achieve its goal of transforming working processes to become more effective and cost efficient it is necessary to implement a major reform of services such as Human Resources (HR).

The MoD has turned to BT to help refine the future strategy that it will take to improve the delivery of such services. BTs own experience of rationalising HR functions to improve efficiency and make them more cost-effective proved a significant driver in the MoD's choice.

Tried and trusted methodology
Successful initiatives, such as the Defence Fixed Telecommunications Service (DFTS), convinced the MoD that BT would be an ideal partner to approach for advice and support when setting out the vision and strategy required as a foundation for transforming HR services. Over the last two years the MoD have used key HR practitioners within BT as a source of advice and experience to help with its own transformation strategies and overall goal of delivering more effective services.
