Ultra Electronics Tactical Communication Systems Division (Ultra TCS) announces the award of contract modifications valued at more than US$50,000,000 through the Canadian Commercial Corporation, for the supply of its AN/GRC-245 HCLOS radio, TRC190 V1 and V3 kits, spares and associated equipment for the U.S. Army’s WIN-T Program under contact no. DAAB07-98-C-F505.

The AN/GRC-245A HCLOS radio is a state-of-the-art Software Defined Radio(SDR) using the Software Communications Architecture (SCA) open framework. The HCLOS radio is currently shipping with 16Mb/s capacity and is software-upgradeable to 34Mb/s full-duplex capacity. Ultra-TCS has already delivered thousands of HCLOSTM radios to North American and International customers, many of which are operating in the most demanding battlefield conditions.
