SELEX Sistemi Integrati: contract with the European Union for a Command, Control and Information System
SELEX Sistemi Integrati, a Finmeccanica Company, signed a contract with the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union for the development, supply and installation of a Military Command and Control Information System, including the provision of related support, training and maintenance services.
The estimated total value of the contract is 11.1 million Euros.
The contract is linking SELEX Sistemi Integrati and the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union for a period of seven years taking into account the delivery time of the completed system (three years) and the possibility to renew the contract up to four periods, of one year each, for support and maintenance activities.
Military Command and Control Information System
The Military Command and Control Information System, to be delivered by SELEX Sistemi Integrati, will enhance the European Union's ability to plan, deploy and execute military as well civilian operations under EU-led undertakings. It will also be at the centre of the whole operative system, in which both, the present and the future systems will be integrated.
The contract named EUCCIS (European Union Command and Control Information System) represents a further international success for SELEX Sistemi Integrati's know-how in the field of Command and Control Information systems and reinforces its important position in the state-of-the-art solution for Air Defence, Homeland Protection, Costal Defence and Battlefield C4I systems.
