For aerospace design, whenever heat is a problem the ideal thermal insulation will be light, super efficient, flexible, and made to the highest quality standards.

Available now for several years, Aeroguard® meets these design parameters in full and has been the insulation of choice for aerospace designers around the world. It is a lightweight, flexible insulation product made to aerospace standards offering full traceability and an ultra low thermal conductivity.

Microporous Insulation

It is available in a selection of covering materials to cater for different exposure temperatures including a version that can withstand direct flame impingement, and it is not affected by operational vibration in normal use.

Now, as part of the Microtherm Group drive for continuous improvement, an even better version of Aeroguard® was announced at the Paris Air Show this year.  Aeroguard® LD has a lower thermal conductivity due to an improved materials formulation and it is available in a density range going down to an incredible 128 kg/m3 (7.99 lb/ft3).
