SubscribeThe Swordfish is a man portable, two unit, hydro abrasive cutting equipment, based upon the Marlin low-pressure diajet system.
Used extensively in demilitarisation for cutting through bomb casings, Swordfish mixes abrasive and water under pressure, to effect a cutting action using the identical manipulation as the larger Marlin.
Cutting can be effected either in a linear or circular movement and when the explosive fill has been gained, flushed out using Swordfish, or burnt out using Low Temperature Thermite.
This system can also be continuously remotely operated at a range of 500 metres and is compatible with clean, dirty or salt water.
