Pyrotechnic effects are essential in almost all military combat training. The known drawbacks of remote controlled pyrotechnic devices are difficult set-up procedures, complex handling procedures and a vast amount of preparation time.

Pyrotechnic Training System

C.O.E.L.’s PTS concept overcomes these restric-tions by using proven components from the CODARTS® product range. A standard scenario (e.g. Improvised Explosive Devices IED training) can be created in less than 20 seconds.

A typical PTS training set consists of one PocketPyro communication device and a number of Fire Marker Units (at least 1). The FMU are placed at the desired location and switched on. The PocketPyro communicates immediately with the units. Battery life, pyro load, etc. can be checked beforetraining starts.
