C.O.E.L. has met the demands for standardized IED training with the IED and Booby Trap simulator COPAS 1R. The device is technically based on the proven and fielded Fire Marker Unit (FMU) design.

COPAS 1R

All safety features of the COPAS 1R have been adopted 100% from the FMU. This includes safety switch operation, warning LED, remote switch-off, acoustic alert, single switch operation, auto detect, safety pause and other advanced safety features already approved with the FMU.

The COPAS 1R is a small, multi-function, radio operated pyrotechnic simulator that supports military training needs. The most important feature for standardized military training is an easy to use, easy to set-up pyrotechnic simulator. COPAS 1R is a 100% selfcontained unit. No exter-nal antennas, batteries or switches are required. One single unit is placed at the desired location and activated. Set-up complete!

COPAS 1R is controlled via the ruggedized PocketPyro PDA that has been introduced and fielded with the FMU. The FMU itself serves as an IED simulator where multiple shots are required.
