In large building complexes, such as universities and clinics, an effective and intelligent Intercom, paging and emergency notification system is a must. The Annuncicom IC can be installed inside in rooms and hallways or outside in emergency towers for two-way communication. For the installation points that don't require the two-way intercom capability, the Barix Exstreamer Gold is the ideal solution, offering a built-in amplifier allowing for direct connection to a pair of speakers.
The Annuncicom IC and Exstreamer Gold both can cover an area such as the school cafeteria with background music which automatically gets silenced when an announcement is made. Standard messages and alert tones can be locally stored over network onto the device itself and activated when necessary.
With the locally stored audio it is possible to have time managed playback of the school bell and a life saving feature such as emergency instructions that are individually tailored for the room where the system is installed.
