The core of this system is the Barix Annuncicom IC which opens a whole new world of functionality and application.The Annuncicom IC can send announcements and emergency instructions over standard Network to the loudspeakers in the user selectable target zones.
In reverse it can be equipped with a call button, microphone, loudspeaker and a keyboard to allow people to communicate between zones or to contact a centralized zone such as the security office or rescue teams.
The Annuncicom IC also offers additional functions such as the ability to remotely open or lock a door by connecting it to an electric door strike. Flexible enough to meet every customer's needs, the Annuncicom IC can be controlled locally or by a PC using Barix Annuncicom software.
