Ultra Electronics Tactical Communication Systems Division (TCS) has been awarded a contract from Thales UK Ltd for the supply of its latest generation AN/GRC-245 radios for use in the UK Army's FALCON system.
The AN/GRC-245 radio is currently deployed as part of the U.S. Joint Network Transport Capability (JNTC) and provides the wide band line-of-sight communications for the U.S. Army.
