The proverbial robustness of STANEX light metal cases is noticeable already from the first glance at the outside. Lightweight Aluminum Alloy
STANEX transport case is constructed of a special lightweight aluminum alloy and is highly resistant to corrosion in salt fog and other aggressive environments. STANEX cases in standard sizes have IATA approval UN 4B1/Y120/S/89/CH2659/EDAK for air shipment of hazardous cargo and offer IP54 protection against dust and moisture.
The following picture shows a ADR / RID version of our case. This Hazardous Good Case corresponds to the European Agreement concerning the international carriage of dangerous goods by road (ADR) and by train (RID).
