Refrigerators and Freezers for use in the Field of operations.
For a long time, Dometic has specialized in medical, automotive and military refrigeration. Dometic field refrigerators and freezers are dedicated for integration into containerised kitchens, shelters, barracks or tents to maintain perishables in good and safe conditions.
Several capacities are available to provide the best possible choice depending on the deployment conditions : lower capacities for enhanced transportability or higher capacities for larger groups. Additionally, Dometic refrigerators and freezers can be used as transport units when dedicated batteries or electrical connections are made available on the transport vehicle.
The large capacity refrigerators/freezers use same base cabinets as for the large insulated containers (models SC) or the Zeocold transport refrigerators. Freezer units (RF) are equipped with an automatic defrosting system to avoid any mechanical defrosting operations.
The Dometic range includes 3 capacities which can be used as refrigerators or freezers and run on electricity /standard 230 VAC, optional 24 VDC): RF-400 (370l) - RF-650 (612l) - RF-1000 (920l), 3 portable units refrigerators/ freezers (manual defrosting): C-250 (23l),C-400 (37l),C-550 (51l) and a 120 l mobile refrigerator R-120 (120l) running on 12 and 24 VDC as well as on 110-230 VAC.
Models RF-400, RF-650 and RF-1000 have a detachable refrigeration system to guarantee user friendly and low cost replacement & repair operations. C-250, C-400 and C-550 units have a manual thermostatic control whereas other models are equipped with an electronic temperature regulation.
