Designed for security teams worldwide to be used in any conditions and circumstances, it ranges from weapon-mounted devices to ultra powerful surveillance systems which are effective in even overcast starlight.
The latest range includes NiteWatch™, a hand-held monocular surveillance device with an exceptionally high degree of operational versatility.
Initially designed for use by the Special Forces, NiteWatch can be attached to still and video cameras in a matter of seconds, enabling professionals to record night time scenes under surveillance.
The extremely compact device is also available with a head mount harness and can easily be mounted on a weapon to provide a reliable sighting system during the hours of darkness.
NiteWatch comes in water-resistant models and is available with a wide range of objective lenses and accessories. Alternative Image Intensifier Tube Specifications are available as appropriate to use.
Based around NiteWatch is the Night Vision Surveillance Kit (NVSK) which provides all the equipment you need to gather visual information in low light conditions.
The reliability of all the components has been proven in the field by professional security forces both in the UK and overseas.
Using the NVSK, the user can view scenes with the naked eye, take high quality still images, record digital video sequences, measure the distance to the object under surveillance and provide additional covert infrared illumination.
PW Allen’s latest range also includes BlackWatch, the world’s most powerful night vision device for gathering photographic evidence, film and video. It can photograph moving objects at film speeds of one 125th of a second in overcast starlight.
The system is intended for very low light-level surveillance use in conjunction with SLR, film, video and CCTV cameras. A range of adaptors is available so that BlackWatch can be connected to the most current cameras. It is even possible to provide custom-made adaptors for cameras not covered by the standard range.
The Black Cat Thermal Imaging Camera completes the range. It is a simple-to-use surveillance camera ideal for police officers, coast guards, border guards, customs officers and security guards.
The Black Cat is easily fitted with a range of lenses from 50mm to 150mm depending on the requirements.
