Air Rover is pleased to announce the addition of the UL24 family of lightweight ECUs to its flagship UL Series military environmental control units.
The UL24 was engineered from the ground up to be a rugged, lightweight, hand-deployable ECU that would operate in the world's hottest climates. With an operating range of 35º F to 150º F and a weight of less than 300 lbs., the UL24 is perfect for military tent cooling or supplemental cooling for sensitive electronic equipment.
A wide range of deployment options are available with all Air Rover® UL Series ECUs. The unit can be installed as a rapid deployment ductless system where a tent wall quickly falls between the condenser and evaporator modules, thereby providing precision cooling or heating to a tent structure literally in seconds. The ECU can also be deployed outside of a tent or other structure where air flows through ducts to the tent.
UL24 ECUs by Air Rover® come standard with a fully integrated skid, a high-efficiency scroll compressor, 10" round duct takeoffs, a remote control box with 20' of shielded cable, and on-board storage space for the remote box and operation manual. The steel skid features unique corner receivers for accessories such as leveling jacks or wheels that simply slide and pin into each corner of the skid. All UL Series ECUs have an all-aluminum, precision lightweight cabinet that is rugged, yet exceptionally lightweight.
Earth-friendly, environmentally approved refrigerant R134-a is used on all UL Series ECUs by Air Rover®.
The UL24 family is available in two groups. ULCR24 units feature a constant run compressor that eliminates electrical spikes and surges when powered by a generator. ULHT24 units do not feature a constant run compressor, but are otherwise identical to ULCR24 units.
Available options for the UL24 include a constant run compressor, electric heat, low ambient control, and a host of accessories.
The UL24 is the latest Air Rover® ECU that meets the demands of today's mobile military forces.
