The M60 Tank modification project involves various systems' modifications and modernization such as:
- Hull cutting, welding and adjustment-all achieved using designated jigs.
- Power Pack mounting and engine compartment building and guiding rails.
- Fuel system tanks, valves, filters, pumps and tubing modifications.
- Power Pack Control Systems' modification, integration and installation:
- Accelerator Control - sensor, pedal and hand throttle.
- Brake Control - linkages, pedal, spring, bulkhead cross sleeves and shafts.
- Parking Brake Control - linkages, handle, bulkhead cross sleeves and shafts.
- Gear Selection Control - installation in driver compartment.
- Emergency Gear Selection Control - linkages, handle, bulkhead cross sleeves and shafts.
- Steering Control - linkages, steering wheel and safety latch, bulkhead cross sleeves and shafts.
- Top Deck, Rear Outlet, Bottom Access - doors, inlets and covers modifications.
- Fire extinguishing system connections, mounts and bosses mounting.
- Engine Pre-Heater system - armored box, internal components arrangement, water, fuel and electrical connection to Hull & Power Pack.
