ATK recently achieved a production milestone in medium caliber ammunition - the 10 millionth M910 25mm training round. Used primarily with M242 Bushmaster gun systems on the U.S. Army Bradley Fighting Vehicle and the Marine Corps Light Armored Vehicle, the M910 helps U.S. forces train like they'll fight.

M910 25mm medium caliber roundRolling along: ATK recently surpassed the 10 million mark for production of its M910 25mm medium caliber round.

The M910 production run began nearly a decade ago and builds on the company's legacy in medium-caliber ammunition. In addition to training rounds, ATK produces 25mm High Explosive Incendiary and armor piercing rounds. In combination with the Bushmaster gun system, the 25mm family of ammunition is a force multiplier on the battlefield capable of defeating numerous threats.

"Ten million rounds is a testament to the quality processes engineered into our production lines," said Duane Bjorlin, Business Development Manager.

"We take our role as a supplier of choice for the U.S. armed forces very seriously and we look forward to developing the next-generation technologies that will serve our national interests."

As a follow-on to the M910, ATK is developing the M910E1, which matches the ballistic characteristics of live-fire ammunition, while limiting the round's range and incorporating environmentally friendly production techniques.
