Allen-Vanguard, the global security specialist, has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Penny While as group marketing manager.
Penny's new role is to shape the strategic direction of the company by positioning the brand, communicating the unique selling points to the global customer base and supporting the sales initiatives. She will report to Roy Peers-Smith, Allen-Vanguard's managing director.
Penny, who has 21 years' experience in the marketing arena, previously worked at BPE Solicitors in Cheltenham as its director of marketing. Her main achievements included developing the firm's brand and positioning it as a key regional player through a sustained communications strategy.
Of her move to Allen-Vanguard, Penny explained: "Allen-Vanguard is a leader in the defence industry and one with a robust reputation. I have no doubt that this will be a fantastic move for me. I'm really eager to make the role my own and contribute to the overall success of the business. Allen-Vanguard provides high quality products and services, and my aim is to uphold that reputation."
Roy Peers-Smith added: "We were looking for a marketing manager who is proactive and can take the business forward - and we found that in Penny.
