Quality guarantees safety - rules applying to Jet Fuel filtration in the Civil Aviation market also take prime place for military use. The German armed forces (Bundeswehr) therefore put their faith exclusively in the know-how and wealth of experience of FAUDI Aviation when it comes to water separation and filtration in jet fuels. In cooperation with the company Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Esterer GmbH & Co. KG from Helsa, the Stadtallendorf filtration experts fit the new armed forces Type 'TW90' Aircraft refueller trucks with innovative filter technology. Mobile Filter-/Water Separators from the FWE-T-6-10 series are used. The units are mounted on the tank trucks at the Esterer company in Helsa.
To carry out this order, two 'old acquaintances' are again working together. 'Cooperation with the company Dr. Ing. Ulrich Esterer goes right back to the sixties', explains Jörg Siemon, Marketing Manager at FAUDI Aviation. In the past, joint projects were primarily conducted in the civil Aviation field. Today, Refueller and Dispenser fitted with Filter-/Water Separators made by FAUDI Aviation can be seen at airports across the globe.
The current Bundeswehr order represents a major vote of confidence in FAUDI Aviation. Even the initial order lot is of some considerable size. And there is already the prospect of a follow-on order of additional Filter-/Water Separators. It is already clear that with its FWE-series pressure vessels FAUDI Aviation has hit on precisely the right concept. They are designed exclusively with the special requirements of the military in mind and can be used for stationary or mobile applications.
FAUDI Aviation is the only supplier of Jet Fuel filters to the Bundeswehr. The reason for this is simple. The requirements and specifications of the approval tests are extremely stringent and demanding.
